Job description

Prospero Teaching is looking for a full-time food technology technician for a Secondary school in Hillingdon.


This is a mainstream Secondary School with a supportive food and Design department. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year.


Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.


CONTRACT DETAILS

Location: Hillingdon

Position: Food Technician

Type of work: Food Technician

Contract or position start date: ASAP

Duration / Likely Duration: 1 term

Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm): temp

Full time/part time: Full time

Minimum rate of pay: GBP 100 per day

Hours: 8:30 am - 4pm, plus parent's evenings


EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Food safety certificates or equivalent
  2. Minimum 1 year experience in the UK
  3. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  1. Hold Right to Work in the UK
  2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  3. Provide two professional child-related references
