Food Technical/Ops Assistant

Scout Recruiting is now looking for a PART TIME Food Technical/Ops Assistant to join our client's busy family business located on the outskirts of Peterborough.

Starting salary for this role would be £35K pro rata. Working hours would be 3 days or 20 hours a week split over Monday - Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

1. To assist with all Food Technical queries from Clients and the Sales Team
2. To create and manage Product Specifications using Manufacturers Information
3. To check Client Food Labelling for compliancy against The General Food Regulations 2004 and approve artwork ready for printing
4. Administration and Ownership of all Client Portals for Allergens and Nutritional's
5. To manage the ongoing amends of the Allergen & Product Information Matrix
6. To assist when needed with tasks involving BRC Food Safety
7. To assist with maintaining and the administration of the NPD Process and check list for Supplier Approval
8. To assist with Factory hygiene inspections and assist in preparation for third party and Customer Audits
9. To support and assist with any other Operational duties required
