Food Safety Compliance Manager

Working on behalf of our client, a renowned chilled food manufacturer, Mach Recruitment are currently looking for a Food Safety Compliance Manager.

You will ensure that the company meets all necessary legislative / agreed customer standards and food safety best practice guidance, through robust quality management and risk assessment approach.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Development of HACCP plan
2. Work closely with QA and Operations teams
3. Improve controls around food safety
4. Run regular HACCP meetings
5. Actively take part in customer visits and audits
6. Conduct internal audits
7. Work closely with customers

Skills and Experience:

1. Ideally a Degree/HND in Food Science, Technology or Science based subject
2. Extensive technical experience within food manufacturing
3. Dealing with multiple retailers
4. Trained to HACCP Level 3 as a minimum

Role:

1. Permanent
2. Salary DOE
3. Monday to Friday
4. 8.30am-5.00pm
