This role is based in Bexley for an experienced FOOD QUALITY MANAGER. This is a KEY ROLE in the supply chain and this business prides itself in adhering to the highest standards of food safety which is an essential part of its branding strategy.

Job Details

Title: Food Quality Manager (Mandarin or Cantonese)

Languages: Mandarin and/or Cantonese are ideal.

Location: Bexley (SE London nearby)

Car Parking Available: Free Parking

Hours: 40 hours per week covering Monday - Saturday (Depending on the production plan)

Work style: Fully office based

The company has gone through a recent explosion in growth because of the increased interest in home-cooking that started during Covid and has continued to grow. People are now experimenting with new flavours and new dishes, following chefs on Instagram, etc., and because of this, the company has been able to expand strongly to accommodate increasingly sophisticated and international dishes.

Responsibilities

The role has 2 main parts: 1) QA related compliance and 2) team management

QA Compliance Documentation
Review and update HACCP documents, organise HACCP meetings as HACCP team leader
- Check that documents are compliant with the latest national and international food hygiene regulations.
- Monitor and analyse quality tests.
- Monitoring supplier compliance to H&S standards.
- Ensuring labelling is accurate.
Team Management
- Developing and training the quality team of 4.
- Mentoring and coaching staff.
- Reviewing performance.
