Production Supervisor – DAY Shift

Artisan food manufacturer - Tortilla, sauces & salsa, hummus & pesto (NO MEAT)

Circa £35k + Benefits

Permanent contract

Typical shifts; Day shifts – Sunday to Thursday 2pm – 10pm (some flexibility)

Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to an amazing artisan manufacturer of high-end Tortilla’s, sauces & salsa, hummus & pesto (NO MEAT).

Due to growth & contract wins, we are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor with a proven background in food manufacturing.

The successful Production Supervisor duties will include:

1. Lead the production line ensuring all workflow is manageable and meets targets.
2. Supervise and manage a team of 40+ line operatives.
3. Work to the department's SOPs.
4. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the factory.
5. Ensure production is consistent & up to the company's high standards.
6. Implement and manage KPIs and reports.
7. Work to the company's high standards at all times.
8. Work to health & safety policies.

This could be a brilliant chance for an experienced Food Production Team Leader to step up or for an experienced team leader/supervisor to work for an exciting business with amazing leadership and big plans.

Required experience & characteristics:

1. At least 1 year experience leading, managing, and motivating a food production team.
2. Proven people management skills.
3. Enthusiastic, positive, and motivational.
4. Experience of managing demand, workflow & supply.
5. Reliable & conscientious.
6. Courteous, polite & professional.
