We are currently recruiting for a Food Production and Service Assistant to be a part of our team at Optic Technology Centre, Ffordd William Morgan, St Asaph Business Park, Denbighshire, LL17 0JD.


This is a permanent part-time role, 30 hours per week.

What you'll be doing

  1. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team.
  2. In this role, you will be assisting with the production of cold food items including sandwiches and salads, fruit and dessert pots, wraps, baguettes etc., ensuring our products meet our high standards of quality and safety.
  3. Mainly preparing grab-and-go items.
  4. Serving on counters and tills, which will include cash handling.
  5. Stocking up.
  6. Delivering excellent customer service throughout.
  7. Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  8. Ensure compliance with food safety and allergen legislation.

Experience

  1. Catering qualification preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
  2. Knowledge of food safety procedures.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on own initiative.
  4. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  5. Reliable team player.
  6. DBS checks required.
