Food & Beverage Operations Manager - Highly Regarded Hotel Operator
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £40,000 + Bonus + Fantastic Benefits
Hours: Full time (40 Hours)

** You MUST have strong Food & Beverage Operations Manager/Head of Food & Beverage experience in a large city centre property of at least 150+ bedrooms to be considered for this role! **

Our client, a large stylish hotel operation, is looking for a highly-experienced, hands-on, personable and passionate Food & Beverage Operations Manager to assist in the running of their high-quality operation based in Glasgow City Centre. With stylish rooms, amazing facilities, and a stunning food and beverage operation featuring an extensive menu, this operation boasts a strong base of clientele with guests coming from afar for new and repeat experiences.

As this is a hands-on role, you will need to enjoy leading a busy hotel food and beverage division overseeing a large team, motivating and getting the best out of each individual as Head of Department. You will have strong leadership and management skills, good business acumen, and the ability to motivate your team. You will be fully responsible for day-to-day management of the entire operation and will be the face of the business, making personality key!

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a core member of the senior management team.

Required Experience:

  1. Solid hands-on F&B Operations Manager/Head of F&B/Deputy General Manager experience in a large busy hotel.
  2. Strong leadership and management skills with experience managing a large team of front of house staff.
  3. Good business acumen, strong financial knowledge (GPs, wage costs, Profit & Loss), and payroll experience.
  4. A warm and friendly personality, fun, passionate, charismatic, enthusiastic, people-focused, and adaptable to all personalities.
  5. Excellent communication skills for developing relationships with a large team and others involved.
