Our client is a global leader in food manufacturing selling products in over 100 countries with 25 factories worldwide. They are a great company to work for offering excellent career progression and job satisfaction. They are currently looking for a Chilled Demand Planner to be based at the head office in Hammersmith, West London.
This is an excellent opportunity as their portfolio has grown strongly in the past 5 years and they are looking for a candidate to grow rapidly as part of a close knit and supportive team with an autonomous working environment. This role would suit someone who is keen to be responsible for all aspects of the chilled supply chain, including developing relationships with customers, the factories and forecasting.
This role requires someone to be able to understand the Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment. Demand is a large part of this role. You will be in charge of deciding per product what quantities need to be delivered to the UK depots for several of our factories across Europe. Some other factories will manage directly their stock in the UK depot; you will help them to understand the UK market and provide them with the information that they need, and challenge them to achieve their KPI (service level / wastage).
The successful candidate will either be a graduate, having recently completed a technical degree, or having worked in the reality of retail/logistics. They should be analytical, detail driven and able to work to challenging deadlines in a changing environment. They should be able to work both independently and with the wider team and business where required. They should be able to build good rapport with supply contacts in order to acquire customer side data.
If you would like to apply for this role, please send an up to date copy of your CV to Kate Evans as soon as possible quoting reference GP280.
