About the role
Are you a leading Facilities Management professional looking for an exciting opportunity? Join us as the FM Service Delivery Lead for our John Lewis & Partners stores, Customer Delivery Hubs and London Central Office.

In this critical role, you will develop a customer focused service approach to ensure the safety, compliance, and seamless operation of our buildings, aligning maintenance with the specifications set by the John Lewis Brand. You will play a crucial role in influencing and supporting strategic objectives delivery. The operating model leads an outsourced service provider to deliver hard services into stores and the delivery hubs whilst managing the soft services, reception, logistics, samples and workspace through an insourced team.

You will be fundamental in delivering a range of Facilities Management Services while meeting financial, operational, safety, and sustainability targets. Your leadership will be key in developing a network of internal resources, external suppliers, and stakeholders, promoting operational excellence.

Essential skills you’ll need
● Significant operational leadership experience of UK Facilities Management, Property and Construction
● Proven track record of Customer Focussed FM service delivery in a multi-site Retail business
● Experience of financial management including budgeting and forecasting. Use experience, analysis and judgement to focus on what's important to deliver value to our business
● Proven experience of communicating internally & externally with senior stakeholders
● Facilitates and leads change and adapts style to match situation

Desirable
● MSc, PGD, RICS or IWFM (formerly BIFM) membership
● Experience of working client side with an outsourced service provider
● Experience and understanding of service contracts including output specifications and performance mechanisms
● Experience influencing senior stakeholders
● Experience of managing major incidents
