Are you a skilled and passionate Early Years professional, with broad experience of the sector and a sound understanding of Care Inspectorate Wales requirements?

Would you like to play a crucial role in ensuring there are sufficient high-quality childcare places to meet the needs of families in Bridgend?

This could be the role for you!

As a result of the Welsh Government commitment to provide funded childcare provision for all two-year-olds in Wales, an exciting opportunity has arisen to support the Childcare Strategy and Sufficiency Manager in the strategic planning and operational delivery of the Flying Start expansion programme in Bridgend.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish excellent working relationships with childcare providers in the area.
2. Inform childcare providers of the requirements to become a Flying Start childcare provider.
3. Identify priority areas for the rollout of the expansion programme in geographical areas.

Requirements:

1. A valid driving licence and the use of a car.
2. The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh.
3. Criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
