Certain Advantage is hiring for a Fluid Mechanical Design Engineer based in Filton.

This role is on a contract basis and is hybrid-based.

The Company

We're working with a Manufacturing business that operates in the Aerospace sector. They design, manufacture and deliver industry-leading commercial aircraft, and separate Space and Defense division.

The Role

This role is for a Fluid Mechanical Design Engineer - someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-orientated and driven to succeed.

You'll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:

1. Completing the detailed design phase and passing CDR (critical design review).
2. Developing and implementing the build plan.
3. Leading the Verification and Validation of the built test rig.

The Individual

We're looking for people who can show:

1. Laboratory test & hazardous environment experience.
2. Systems testing techniques.
3. Familiarity with Hydro Mechanical instrumentation installations and Large, High Pressure, Fluid Mechanical Systems.
