Job Description

FLT driver wanted for an immediate start!

We are looking for counterbalance forklift drivers to assist our client with the running of their warehouse.

You will be dealing with sheet metal, so please be aware items are very delicate and sometimes heavy.

Main duties will be:

1. Loading and unloading the lorries with the forklift.
2. Manual handling items from time to time – please note this role involves both forklift operation and manual handling.
3. Completing tasks set by your supervisor.
4. Completing general warehouse responsibilities.

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £12.50 per hour. Please note we do not accept visa sponsorships.

Working Hours: You will be working Monday to Friday, 1pm-9pm Mon-Thu (8pm Fri).

Experience & Qualifications

Before applying, please make sure you match the below criteria:

1. A Counterbalance Forklift licence – in-house licence can be accepted also.
2. Be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting items.
3. Experience with sheet metal is a benefit but not a necessity as full training is provided.
4. If you have the ability and/or experience to shunt our lorries into the warehouse, this is a massive advantage.
