Job description

About us

Lendlease is a globally integrated real estate and investment group with core expertise in shaping cities and creating strong and connected communities. Being bold and innovative characterises our approach and doing what matters defines our intent.

Our residences offer more than just a home. We create places people want to be, care about, and feel connected to. Tenants are offered flexible leases and superior service, quality eco-conscious living, and a sense of community through social connection and convenience.

The result is a build to rent/multifamily product centred on tenant experience to provide the best outcome for both our residents and leasing success.

The role

We are currently recruiting for a Leasing Associate on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Our Leasing Associates offer our residents exceptional service throughout all property operations; the customer is at the heart of what we do.

This job is for you if you are a self-starter, willing to commit the time and energy it takes to reach the next level. Be fully invested in the assets you represent and demonstrate a passion for Build to Rent that can only be described as contagious.

The Leasing Associates respond to plenty of emails and take many telephone calls. You’ll work a varied schedule as you conduct leasing tours with prospective residents, emphasize the community’s available apartment homes, and convert to ongoing leases to ensure the asset is fully occupied.

What will you do?

  • Use a strong and professional greeting approved at the community. Paint “word pictures” to describe the community to future residents and attempt to set an appointment with the prospect.
  • Consistently and accurately track all traffic. Properly fill out Company Guest cards. Obtain phone numbers and request appointments from all telephone traffic.
  • Effectively qualify future residents, verify applications, prepare resident files, and related paperwork within 48 hours.
  • Understand and accurately prepare all Company paperwork.
  • Assist management in completing an accurate market survey.
  • Promote a professional and courteous attitude with residents and peers.
  • Attend to resident concerns, complaints, or inquiries.
  • Implement a professional and courteous attitude throughout all property operations.
  • Promptly attend to resident complaints and/or comments. Instruct associates to show a caring attitude in their work.
  • Make unsolicited calls to residents to ensure service satisfaction.
  • Respond to all feedback from customers with corrective action.
  • Conduct thorough move-in orientation and apartment inspection with new residents.
  • Complete paperwork, prepare lease, sign lease, and accompany resident to view apartments.
  • Flexibility to frequent change within property, office, and company.
  • Willing to cover other properties as needed, as directed by Community Manager and/or Regional Manager.
  • Exercise confidentiality.

You will bring

  • Previous work or property management experience is desirable.
  • We will also consider prior customer service experience either in hospitality or retail.
  • Ability to deal well with people and get them to feel comfortable quickly.
  • Professional appearance and demeanour.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Strong customer service representation.
  • Ability to sell and promote the property.
  • Ability to read and write English fluently and the ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Industry-leading pension scheme.
  • Private medical health benefit and dental plan options.
  • Enhanced parental leave.
  • Life assurance.
  • 25 days annual leave with the option to buy or sell additional days.
  • Wellbeing leave.
  • Health and wellbeing support and initiatives.
  • 24/7 confidential Employee assistance programme.
  • Discounted gym membership to over 2,500 gyms nationwide.
