Our client is a main car dealership who is looking to recruit an experienced Accountant to join their current team.

This role is a floating position so you will be covering 3 sites.

Floating Accountant Role:

1. Preparation of monthly management accounts
2. Prepare regular and timely reports for Managers and Directors on stocks and debtors
3. Assist with the Group cash flow situation, credit control, debt collection warranty claims, etc.
4. Prepare regular bank reports and forecasts
5. Reconciliation, control and correction of key balance sheet accounts
6. Assist in the preparation of monthly and year end accounts to a satisfactory level and in accordance with statutory and Company requirements.
7. Monitor and correct vehicle sales P&I accounts
8. Monitor and control Kerridge Autoline error reports
9. Control of payroll and associated reporting
10. Ensure high standards of administration and record keeping in compliance with Accounting practice and Company procedures.
11. Ensure the prompt, smooth and methodical flow of work.

As a Floating Accountant you:

1. will have previous experience as a management accountant preferably within the motor trade
2. To be part or fully AAT qualified, or equivalent qualification
3. To be able to work efficiently to complete your own tasks, as well as motivating your team
4. To be able to complete larger projects, whilst managing your day-to-day workload

Package:

up to £45,000 + Bonus
