Job Title: Flexible Teaching Assistant for Long-term Teachers Ltd.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities to students
2. Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance
3. Assist in classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
4. Collaborate with teachers to create and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
5. Grade assignments and provide feedback to students
6. Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior
7. Attend meetings and professional development sessions as required

Requirements:

1. A minimum of a high school diploma, with some post-secondary education preferred
2. Previous experience working with children or in a classroom setting is an asset
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
5. A passion for education and helping students reach their full potential
6. Quick learner and able to adapt to different teaching styles and methods
7. Proficiency in using technology and educational software
8. Bilingualism in French and English is an asset but not required
