DNV Japan is seeking a surveyor to be engaged primarily with the Japanese shipbuilding industry:

  • Certification of Materials and Components (CMC) survey toward local manufacturers.
  • Fleet in Service (FiS) survey and audit.
  • New Building (NB) Survey at Shipyard.
  • Smooth execution of surveys or audits in cooperation with local and international customers.
  • Proactive and smooth communication with the local manufacturers and the ship's crew.

The candidate will also be responsible for enhancing and strengthening the DNV Maritime position in Japanese shipbuilding industries.

It should be noted that there will also be opportunities for the candidate to experience and learn about technical issues more deeply through discussions internally with other surveyors stationed globally as well as through actual CMC, FiS, and NB jobs.

The successful candidate will be provided with internal training and qualification schemes.
