Fixed Term Graphic Designer

Are you a talented and creative Graphic Designer looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our in-house design on a six month fixed term contract with an option to extend. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, from marketing collateral and advertising to logos and layouts, all designed to make an impact in both print and online, and would be well suited to an experienced freelancer.

As a Graphic Designer, your role will include:

• Creating layouts, marketing collateral, advertising, and logos, ensuring all designs make an instant impression and communicate our commercial messaging effectively.
• Managing the entire design process from start to finish, including designing, amending, proofing, and printing jobs such as menu packs, brochures, flyers, and more.
• Being proactive and creative in suggesting solutions that help us stand out from the competition.
• Building and maintaining great relationships with suppliers, including print and signage companies, and negotiating costs when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.
• At least 2+ years of experience in Graphic Design, ideally in an agency or similarly fast-paced environment.
• A strong interest in the Hospitality sector, including restaurants, bars, and hotels.
• A genuine passion for creative content and a solid understanding of the latest marketing and graphic design trends across advertising, digital, and social media.
• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work towards tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
• Proficiency in IT, including email management, scheduling, and file organisation.
• Comfortable working on a PC and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
