The Opportunity

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Fitness Instructor to join our team. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for designing and delivering fitness programs to clients, providing excellent customer service to our members, assisting with the day-to-day operations of the leisure club and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and delivering fitness programs to clients, including personal training sessions, group fitness classes, and fitness assessments.
• Assisting clients with correct exercise form and technique.
• Ensuring the Leisure club is clean and well maintained at all times.
• Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting programs as necessary.
• Providing excellent customer service to clients and ensuring their needs are met.
• Assisting with gym operations, including cleaning and maintaining equipment, and opening and closing the gym.
• Promoting and selling gym memberships and personal training sessions.
• Adhering to health and safety guidelines and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
• Providing first aid assistance if necessary.
• Keeping up to date with industry developments and attending training courses as required.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working as a Fitness Instructor or Personal Trainer.
• A recognized qualification in fitness, such as a Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Fitness Instructing or Personal Training.
• A good understanding of exercise physiology, nutrition, and anatomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals.
• A passion for health and fitness.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work evenings and weekends if required.
