Join the team at Wellesley Hospital as a Fitness Instructor, where you will work 37.5 hours a week and be a part of meaningful change. You will join the Occupational Therapy team, where you will facilitate all fitness-based activities within the Occupational Therapy timetable. You'll enjoy support from the OT team, which consists of Registered Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants.
As a part of the programme, you'll explore and promote different elements of a healthy lifestyle, covering key topics each week such as the importance of exercise, food groups and lifestyle choices. You'll provide individual and group sessions within different locations, including a fully equipped gym and sports halls.

You will be working at Wellesley Hospital, a purpose-built 101 bed hospital in Wellington (Somerset) for men and women with mental health needs.
There are 6 wards for people with mental health needs and 1 ward for people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
The Wellesley Hospital built in 2017 works alongside Devon Partnership NHS Trust, Avon and Wiltshire Foundation Trust, Cornwall Foundation Trust, 2gether Foundation Trust, and Livewell to deliver the best possible environment for patients with mental health issues.
