Fitness Instructor, Braywick Leisure Centre

Up to £24,000 pa depending on experience

We are currently recruiting for a driven Fitness Instructor to join our health and fitness team at our Braywick Leisure Centre.

This role is crucial to the operations of our exercise facilities at our leisure centers. Inspiring your customers to positively engage with you and the fitness team to ensure they have the best customer journey from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. Our Fitness Instructors are forward thinking and passionate about the fitness industry, keeping up with the latest fitness trends to provide an engaging and exciting fitness journey for customers of all abilities. Our Fitness Instructors gain a wide skill set and range of experiences which are relevant to carry forward to progress their fitness career pathway. Joining our team as a Fitness Instructor allows our community to enjoy and improve their physical and mental well being and is a genuinely rewarding experience.

The successful candidate should have previous knowledge of the leisure and fitness industry and experience of working in a busy leisure facility. Excellent communication skills, flexibility and a commitment to customer service are essential. You will ideally possess the REPS level 2 or equivalent qualification and be willing to work variable hours, including some evenings and weekends. Successful applicants will be provided with full training in all aspects of this role.

DBS

The position of Fitness Instructor is classed as a regulated post and therefore requires a DBS Disclosure. Where the individual does not already hold a DBS Disclosure, it will be necessary for the post holder to be submitted for a DBS check.

Reporting to: Fitness/ Gym Manager
Annual Leave: 28 days’ paid annual leave per year
Pension: NEST Auto Enrolment after 3 months service
