Fit Out Site Manager

Job Description

MK Search are currently working alongside a leading contractor who currently turnover £40m per annum with a forecast for 2025 of reaching £75m, with a strong presence across M&E, Fit out, Fabric & Critical Services. Our client is currently looking to engage with Fit Out Project Managers to join the team on a number of Fit Out projects within Canary Wharf.

Job Responsibilities

1. Production of RAMS and issuing
2. Responsibility for all H&S matters on site including recording on app-based platform
3. Signing in/out, inductions, toolbox talks, near miss reporting, registers, etc.
4. Occasional pricing projects/recommending labour and materials to estimating team
5. Reading drawings and interpreting scopes
6. Updating of RFI schedules
7. Management of Site Supervisors and PAYE staff on site
8. Logistic Management on projects
9. Organising labour and materials on projects
10. Better buying to maximise profit without compromising on quality
11. Attending Client and contractor meetings
12. Quality control and walk round on projects
13. Cost Management alongside PM
14. Firestopping database uploads
15. Project close out documentation and O&M
16. Maintain good PC filing always in accordance with ISO certification

Minimum Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience within fit out/construction industry with trade background
2. Client facing with the ability to meet and discuss Operational matters with Building Management, Staff and Client representatives
3. Forward-thinking individual with the ability to make own decisions
4. Capable on use of MS packages and e-permit systems
5. Ability to take an active part in Client and Subcontract meetings
6. Ability to programme manage and sequence with other trades
7. Enjoys meeting new people and some socialising with colleagues
