Job description

Overview:

We are recruiting for an experienced Fire Suppression Service & Maintenance Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a professional and growing team, working on cutting-edge fire suppression technologies across a range of environments nationwide.

The ideal candidate will be based in or around Bristol, Gloucester, South Wales, or Swindon, but must be flexible and willing to travel across mainland UK as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Service, maintain, and fault-find on mechanical and electrical gaseous fire suppression systems.
  2. Conduct room integrity testing in accordance with industry standards.
  3. Provide accurate and detailed service reports and documentation.
  4. Diagnose issues and provide technical resolutions independently or in collaboration with the wider team.
  5. Adhere to all safety protocols and standards while working on client sites.
  6. Work closely with the internal service and project teams to ensure top-quality delivery.
  7. Represent the company professionally while on-site and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in fire suppression systems service and maintenance.
  2. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  3. Proven experience with room integrity testing.
  4. Solid understanding of current industry regulations and BS standards.
  5. Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  7. Full UK driving licence (essential).
  8. Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away when required.
