Fire Stopper Duties:

1. Install fire stopping to fire doors
2. Small to large penetrations
3. Use of ablative batts
4. Working in flats/housing/care homes/commercial premises, including working in confined spaces
5. Ensure all work is carried out to a standard that satisfies the customer, company, and accreditations (FIRAS)
6. Consistently achieve agreed performance targets
7. Keep the Passive Fire Protection Supervisor up to date on progress or potential delays
8. Maintain cleanliness of provided vehicle
9. Act in a safe manner in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and requirements

Fire Stopper Qualifications / Experience:

1. NVQ level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (Essential)
2. Hold a valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card
3. Be willing to undertake a DBS (CRB) check if required
4. FIRAS (Preferred)
