As a Fire Safety Consultant, Health and Safety, you will be joining an established Consultancy with a broad client base across the UK. You will have a varied role in Health and Safety but your main focus will be Fire Safety with the production of Fire Strategy and Fire Safety Management Plans.

Position Objective

1. To provide a high standard of Fire Safety Health and Safety Consultancy to a broad range of existing clients.
2. The position will involve significant travel with occasional overnight stays to visit clients' premises to undertake audits/assessments and provide advice in respect of health and safety compliance.

Qualifications Required

1. Health, Safety & Fire Safety Qualified via an approved professional body i.e. FPA, NEBOSH etc with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
2. Member of IFE.
3. Substantive continuing professional and personal development, building and maintaining the requisite competence, knowledge and skills necessary.
4. Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of Health & Safety & Fire Safety.
5. Competent in using Microsoft Outlook and Word and an aptitude to learn new software packages.

Key Responsibilities

1. To undertake a variety of audits and risk assessments at clients’ premises including; Health & Safety risk assessments & Fire risk assessments.
2. Fire Strategy and Fire Safety Management Plans.
3. Drafting of health and safety policies and procedures.
4. Bespoke consultancy services as required by clients.
5. Contacting clients and organising appointments in an efficient manner, working closely with the scheduling department.
6. Responsible for producing your own reports on our online compliance system.
7. To follow the IOSH code of conduct and carry out your work in accordance with our internal policies & procedures.

The role will suit individuals currently working as a Fire Safety Consultant, Health and Safety, Health and Safety Consultant, H&S Consultant, Fire Safety Consultant, Risk Assessor and be living within a commutable distance of London, Middlesex, Surrey, Kent, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire or be willing to relocate.
