Fire Risk Assessor

We are looking for multiple fire risk assessors for long-term contract work around the London area to carry out type 1-4 risk assessments on residential/high-rise buildings over seven floors.

Responsibilities:

1. 4+ years' experience delivering fire risk assessments is essential.
2. Experience with General Risk Assessments in buildings.
3. Good working knowledge of Approved Document B.
4. Good working knowledge of BS 9999 / 9997.
5. Education suitable to be competent to carry out Fire risk assessments on seven or more floors.
6. Must be happy to undertake Fire Risk Assessments.
7. Articulate and clear communicators with report writing abilities and a comprehensive understanding of current UK regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Must have NEBOSH General Certificate in Health & Safety or equivalent as minimum.
2. Recognised fire safety memberships e.g. AIFireE, MIFireE, GIFireE, MIFSM or MIFPO (ADVANTAGEOUS).
3. Willing to apply for or have registered on any of the following fire risk assessors registers: IFSM, FRACS, IFPO or IFE.
