We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their Fire and Security team based in Banbury, covering the Midlands area. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the safety of residents by carrying out fire risk assessments, audits, inspections, and surveys across a range of properties. This role offers a mix of site visits and home working to provide flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will undertake fire risk assessments, audits, inspections, and surveys in line with company policies and procedures.
2. You will produce and maintain accurate reports and documentation related to fire risk assessments and remedial actions.
3. As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will ensure that all fire risk assessments meet established KPIs and comply with relevant safety standards.
4. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, addressing any issues and ensuring effective service delivery.
5. As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will raise awareness of fire risks and actively promote fire safety measures.

Skills and Experience Required:

1. Essential: Level 4 Certificate in Fire Risk Assessment to ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation.
2. Proven experience in a similar role such as Fire Risk Surveyor, Fire Risk Assessor, or Fire Safety Officer.
3. A strong track record of conducting fire risk assessments, ideally within the social housing or construction sector.
4. Solid knowledge of fire regulations, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and a good understanding of current legislation and best practices.
5. Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines, manage workloads, and prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Competency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
7. A full, valid UK driving licence is required for this role as it involves driving on company business.
