Job Description

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a background in fire door installation and remediation? We’re recruiting on behalf of a reputable fire protection contractor that is expanding its team due to continued project wins across the Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, third-party accredited business known for delivering fire compliance works across a variety of sectors including housing, healthcare, education, and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage day-to-day site operations for fire door installation and upgrade projects
  2. Supervise site teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard
  3. Ensure compliance with BM TRADA / FIRAS or other third-party accreditation requirements
  4. Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular H&S checks
  5. Liaise with clients and internal project teams to provide progress updates
  6. Maintain accurate site records, including RAMS, quality checks and handover documentation
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience managing fire door installation projects
  2. Strong understanding of fire safety legislation and compliance standards
  3. Excellent leadership and site management skills
  4. Valid CSCS card and SMSTS or SSSTS
  5. Full UK driving licence
  6. BM TRADA / FIRAS knowledge or certification highly desirable

This role would suit a hands-on Site Manager with a keen eye for compliance and quality, who is comfortable travelling to various sites across the Midlands.
