Our client is a leading fire & security equipment manufacturer who is looking to bring on a new business development manager covering the North East (Leicester to Newcastle) due to a recent promotion. Role & Responsibilities:

• Growing sales in the Northeast region with both existing and new customer base.
• Proactively search for business opportunities within the security industry.
• Work with the Sales Director in formulating strategy and long-term business development plans.
• Adhere to set KPI targets.
• Identify and qualify accounts in line with company requirements.
• Actively change competitor specifications to our products.
• Negotiate and maintain key account agreements on an annual basis, where relevant.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• At least 5 years experience in a BDM/Sales role.
• Experience and knowledge of the fire and security sector.
