Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer – Leicester - £40,000-£42,000 Per Annum

Package Overview:

1. Basic Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience) + Overtime
2. Full-Time, Permanent Position
3. Location: Leicester

Company Overview:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Fire Alarm Engineer to join their esteemed team on a full-time, permanent basis. With years of industry experience, they are entering a new phase of growth and are expanding their team to meet increasing customer demand.

Role and Responsibilities:

1. Commissioning of customers’ fire alarm systems and associated equipment in line with the current regulations, liaising with the Works department/Project Managers to ensure best practice and the most cost-effective solution.
2. Field-based role, covering multiple sites.
3. Working with a variety of manufacturers' brands.
4. Ensuring high standards of work quality.
5. Always maintaining effective communication with customers.
6. Completing tasks efficiently.
7. Providing support to team members when needed.

Skills and Experience Required:

1. Full UK driving licence or equivalent (Essential).
2. Motivation and enthusiasm to seize opportunities.
3. Ideally, a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Fire Alarm Industry (Desirable, but not essential).
4. Open to applicants with a willingness to undergo training.
5. Familiarity with various manufacturers' systems.
6. Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA, and/or City & Guilds.
7. A positive attitude and strong self-motivation are essential.
