Location: Dorset
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
Contract: 6-Month Fixed Term
Hours: 37 per week

Our client is a leading property organisation known for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence. They are seeking a Financial Systems Accountant to join their small, dynamic finance team.

The Role

As the Financial Systems Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Project Accountant and Financial Reporting team. Your expertise will ensure the seamless integration and maintenance of financial systems, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and uploading new budgets into the group reporting software.
• Support the integration of the new system into the budgeting tool.
• Aid in preparing statutory accounts and year-end reports, collaborating with auditors.
• Develop consolidated reporting schedules to streamline processes.
• Assist with FVA returns and maintain the finance reporting system (Adaptive).
• Review fixed assets for obsolescence and impairment, and reconcile housing stock.
• Support external reporting tasks as needed.

You Will Have

• A keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Experience with financial systems (Workday Adaptive experience is a plus).
• The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ideally, be based in Dorset, as the team has regular meet-ups in person.
