Job description

Sapiens UK is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead our efforts, results, and success in the FP&A department. In this pivotal role, you will provide critical financial advice and support to local and group senior executives, enabling key decisions that shape the future of our business. You will oversee all financial aspects of the Business Unit, ensuring robust financial health and strategic growth.

Working Model: Remote (within UK)

Main responsibilities:

The FP&A Director’s main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • End-to-end hands-on P&L responsibility.
  • Preparing a detailed yearly budget.
  • Providing monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Providing financial support to all deal cycles from deal initiation to final contract, including financial model (P&L, cash flow, tax, etc.) and Pricing.
  • Interpreting complex financial information and providing updates as required.
  • Implementing and maintaining financial systems in accordance with the group guidelines.
  • Work with senior leadership to understand and address process challenges & identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build strong relationships across functions within the company, work closely with various functions (Finance, HR, etc.).

Qualifications required:

With dual FP&A and business expertise and strong influencing skills, you will bring a high level of integrity and commitment to the company's results.

You will have high-level analysis and problem-solving skills, as well as critical thinking, and great decision-making abilities. You will also have:

  • At least 5 years in a similar role in an international organization with priority given to high-tech industry experience.
  • An advanced degree in accounting, CPA, business, finance, or a related field.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Experience in managing and monitoring complex projects.
  • High-level planning, reporting, and presentation skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel.
  • Experience with EPM/Hyperion Planning system – a big advantage.
  • A team player comfortable working in a matrix and international set-up.
  • Ability to travel.

Languages:

  • Fluent spoken and written English is a must.
