PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The Financial Planning & Analysis Business Partner will provide financial analysis, tools, and insight which will challenge thinking, enable more informed decisions, and drive the strategy, performance, and sustainability of the organisation. The role will work closely with dedicated divisional areas within IMServ Europe Limited to be a trusted advisor, providing ‘real-time’ support to the Executive and Leadership Teams, adding value to influence decision making whilst acting as a pivotal point of contact for the Finance department for financial planning and analysis activities. The role will provide Finance support on projects.

This will include building business cases with the PMO team, preparing and presenting change investment to respective business leaders, stakeholders, project sponsors, and customers, monitoring associated costs and benefits, identifying risks and opportunities.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Manage divisional financial data for the company's consolidated budget and forecasting process.
  2. Develop forward-looking financial reporting for the organisation, identifying risks and opportunities and associated actions to mitigate/maximise.
  3. Business partner, challenge, lead, and provide support to core stakeholders, the Executive and Senior Leadership Team to deliver value-creating commercial insights and drive business performance in line with the overall corporate and programme outcomes.
  4. Lead on the divisional financial data for the consolidated company budget and projections process collaborating with the wider Finance Business Partnering Team to report financial performance.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
  1. The role requires a qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with post-qualification experience in a relevant role in FP&A.
  2. Significant experience in production of consolidated budgets and forecasts, with knowledge in implementing new systems and experience in driver-led planning.
  3. Experience in using Power BI.
  4. Proven experience of double-entry bookkeeping, internal controls, accounting standards, and other accounting principles.
  5. Experience of creating and working with KPIs, data, and corporate balanced scorecards to aid good decision-making.
  6. Experience in a Private Equity owned business environment.
