They also reward people fairly. This job comes with a salary to £31,000, a performance-related bonus of up to 10% of salary, 25 days holiday (that grows with service) and a 7% pension contribution. They also gladly pay exam/training costs.

Job Overview

As for the job itself it’s more than a typical administrative position. You’ll be front and centre when it comes to relationships with their new clients, their first point of contact. You’ll be someone who can make first impressions count. With a varied client base, no two days will ever be the same. You’ll also prepare your planner for meetings, onboard new clients, and process new business.

In short, you're the glue that holds everything together. Administrators are often overlooked and undervalued but that's not the ethos here.


HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  1. You’ll need 3+ years experience as an administrator in a financial planning practice (IFA or restricted).
  2. You’ll learn from day one and they’ll always offer progression, but you’ll also be happy in the role for 18-24 months and won’t want to become a financial planner.
  3. Ideally you’ll have experience of working on a remote basis. Working on a remote basis is a challenge, so consciousness and self-starting qualities are needed.
  4. You’ll also see your career as more than just a job. You’ll either work for or want to work for a financial planning firm with a modern approach and client-first focus.
  5. You can live anywhere but will need to be available for meet-ups in the South West of England on a quarterly basis.
