Job description

A leading investment platform focused on renewable energy and infrastructure projects is seeking a highly skilled Financial Modeller to support its investment and development activities. The firm specializes in originating, financing, and managing renewable energy assets across multiple markets, working with institutional investors and developers to accelerate the energy transition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex financial models for renewable energy investments, including M&A, project finance, and asset valuation.

• Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and risk assessment for investment decisions.

• Support due diligence processes by providing financial insights and structuring recommendations.

• Assist in fundraising efforts, including investor presentations and term sheet negotiations.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across investment, asset management, and finance teams.

• Ensure models align with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in financial modelling within renewable energy, infrastructure, or private equity.

• Strong proficiency in Excel-based financial modelling, with experience in DCF, LBO, and project finance structures.

• Background in investment banking, financial advisory, or fund management is preferred.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Experience working on transactions within renewable energy (e.g., solar, wind, battery storage) is highly desirable.

• Strong communication skills and ability to present financial analysis to senior stakeholders.
