Financial Manager

This Finance Manager (Property) role will be responsible for the financial accounting and performance reporting for their rapidly growing property portfolio. The role will suit a highly organised, diligent individual looking to further their career in real estate finance.

This Finance Manager (Property) role will be responsible for:

• Group financial accounting responsibility
• Responsible for monthly financial reporting to the shareholders
• Maintenance and review of Propco Holdco structures including review of bookkeeping, monthly reporting and statutory annual accounts
• Accounting for both investment and development properties
• Help to shape the controls and processes of the finance function
• Manage the external auditors during the year end process
• Review of year end corporation tax returns
• Review of monthly VAT returns for the group
• Bank debt covenant reporting and assisting with debt origination for new projects
• Assist with tax structuring for new projects
• Corporate Finance Responsibilities – assisting with new acquisitions (tax and financial due diligence, review of investment appraisals)
• Financial management of operational assets – liaising with operators and administrators
• Day-to-day management of two team members, including coaching and development

To successfully apply for this Finance Manager (Property) role you will have:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent) Qualification
• Strong academic background
• Solid understanding of technical accounting
• Personable, good communicator
• Teamwork and collaborative approach very important
