Financial Lines Underwriter (Top Global Insurer)

We are delighted to be partnering with this world-leading insurance company that is seeking a talented Financial Lines Underwriter. Working within the specialist Financial Lines Division, you’ll be underwriting new business enquiries from a wide variety of brokers throughout the UK, using your sound technical and negotiation skills to secure profitable business. Specific duties will include, but not be limited to:

1. Underwriting a variety of commercial cases across various product lines.
2. Collaborating with the Claims team.
3. Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the Technical department and the wider business.

Being a growing business that very much listens to, and implements employees’ great ideas and suggestions, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in some really interesting ad hoc projects and make a real difference. Much of the business is Professional Indemnity themed, and so you must have strong experience within the PI arena. Candidates from a variety of specialisms (such as the Professions, Miscellaneous, Tech, Life Sciences etc.) will be considered. As you’ll be regularly dealing with brokers, you’ll have excellent communication skills, together with a good track record of maintaining and developing relationships.
