What You'll Be Doing:

As our Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in shaping the financial future of our business, ensuring strong financial controls and providing strategic insight. You'll:

  1. Lead the month-end process, including reporting to our parent company Biffa
  2. Drive the budget and re-forecasting process to shape business decisions
  3. Embed robust financial processes and procedures
  4. Oversee the year-end stat accounts preparation and audit
  5. Support commercial, retail, ops and head office teams with financial decision making
  6. Manage the payroll and procurement functions

Requirements

What We're Looking For:
  1. A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical expertise
  2. A natural leader with the ability to inspire and challenge constructively
  3. Retail or FMCG experience - essential for understanding our fast-paced environment
  4. Excellent IT skills across varied applications
  5. A highly numerate, organised, and detail-focused mindset
  6. A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities
