Job Description:

A charity with an extensive local history and based in a beautiful location on the outskirts of South Cambridge is currently looking to recruit a part-time Financial Controller to join their team.

Culture and creativity are at the forefront of what they do, and they are looking for somebody that shares their values. This role will be 3-4 days a week based in their beautiful surroundings.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this position will mentor an Assistant Accountant and will take responsibility for the following:

1. Producing the monthly management accounts for 3 entities
2. Producing profit and margin reports
3. Supporting the development of the Assistant Accountant
4. Producing year-end accounts to trial balance
5. Reviewing and approving statutory accounts for 3 entities
6. Completing and submitting the quarterly VAT return
7. Compiling and delivering financial reports for monthly management meetings
8. Producing annual P11D returns
9. Managing PAYE payments to HMRC

You must be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified with proven experience in the above-mentioned duties. You must have an excellent knowledge of Excel and ideally have used Sage or a similar system.
