Financial Controller (Liphook)

Part-time Financial Controller wanted in or around Liphook (within a 45 minute radius from the location preferred)

About the role:
The role is to work with our client in their Landscaping business. The basics in the finance function are covered but there is a need for an experienced and commercially-minded Financial Controller to help move the business forward, on a part-time basis.

About You:
You should be a qualified and experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. Ideally, you are already self-employed and available quickly with at least 2 days of availability per week.

Your expertise should include:

1. Management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations
2. Experience with preparing budgets and cashflow forecasts
3. Experience in using Xero accountancy software
4. Experienced Excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs
5. Proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders
6. Experience with WIP calculations
7. Experience with project profitability reporting
8. You must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years)

As this role is two days a week (self-employed basis), it could work alongside other client work.

Rate of pay: £35 per hour

Location: Liphook - Hybrid 2 days p/week
