Job Description

• Leadership of the financial control finance team
• Develop and implement financial strategies for the organisation
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Manage and mentor the finance team
• Charity SORP reporting
• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information for the board
• Monitor and control the organisation's income, cash flow and expenditure
• Develop and manage financial systems and policies
• Engage with external auditors and manage the audit process

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Permanent FC' should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or a similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards
• International development experience and grant management will be favorable
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
