Financial Controller (ACA) – Up to £110k – London (Hybrid)

FryerMiles are delighted to be partnering with a global fast-paced business in London, to assist in hiring a Financial Controller to join this fast-growing organisation.

You will be an experienced Financial Controller who has previously worked within a listed company environment and is used to interacting with international finance controllers/accountants.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform and drive monthly, quarterly and yearly close activities, including manual journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure that the company accounts are closed in a timely fashion and in accordance with IFRS.
• Develop, manage and improve process metrics utilizing automation, lean practices and process optimisation to scale.
• Involvement in the preparation of various ad hoc finance presentations and reports.
• Design and implement accounting policy and procedural documentation.
• Preparation of the consolidated management accounts and quarterly board packs.
• Interaction with international finance controllers/accountants.
• Build scalable accounting processes, establish measures of success, set benchmarks and improve timelines and efficiencies to support global growth.
• Producing internal management reporting and external audit support.
• Preparing the business for audit and liaising with external parties.

Desired Skills:

• ACA qualified - Top 20 exposure to Audit, Accounting and Risk reviews.
• Experience of group accounting and IFRS.
• Previous exposure to multi-currency entities.
• Ability to form relationships within finance team and wider group globally.
• Acute eye for detail and high working standards.
• High integrity and natural desire to assume responsibility.
• Approachable and confident personality type, comfortable within a wide range of organisational environments.
• Highly adaptable in a fast-paced changing environment and able to multitask.
