Financial Controller - ACCA/ACA Practice Move

First or 2nd move for a practice trained accountant into a Financial Controller role based in Wetherby.

With succession planning in mind for the current Financial Director, this role will suit a career minded ACCA / ACA accountant who has trained within an independent or national firm of accountants, seeking either a first move from practice or a 2nd move from industry.

The role will supervise one member of staff and will support the Financial Director in all aspects of running the financial operations of the company including:

1. Management accounts
2. Statutory accounts for a number of group companies
3. VAT returns
4. Being the point of contact for the auditors
5. Liaising with funders
6. Investment appraisals
