Job description

Are you looking for a new permanent Financial Controller? An established business is seeking a new FC to work on multiple subsidiaries for the business. This is a hugely exciting time to be joining this organisation.

Working closely with the team, the role will include:

  • Take full responsibility for managing and overseeing the finance function across the business, ensuring high standards of financial governance, control, and compliance.
  • Lead the production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and subsequent P&L calls with the budget holders.
  • Full responsibility for all bank-related activities.
  • Lead the annual budget process across all Business Units to ensure accurate and robust budgets are prepared with supporting documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance across all areas of tax including VAT, Corporation Tax, and payroll taxes.
  • Producing the year-end financial statements.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and delivery.

Key to success:

This position would suit a hands-on FC with staff management experience looking for a varied finance role. An excellent communicator from junior finance staff to senior stakeholders.
