Reed Finance are delighted to be working with our client to appoint a Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the Director, the Financial Controller will run the day-to-day operations for the finance function and team.
This is an opportunity for an existing Financial Controller / Head of Finance, or a Finance Manager or a deputy Financial Controller looking to step up. You will drive performance and ensure deadlines are met.
- Ensure timely and accurate month end reporting pack to board
- Lead the finance team to meet all key objectives
- Budget, Forecasting, Cashflow
- Work with Director to oversee all commercial agreements such as insurances
- Key contact for Banks, Insurers and auditors
- Year end and stat accounting
- Board pack and presentation
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
- Have held a Financial Controller or Finance Manager role for a minimum of 3 years
- Strong team leadership skills
- Strong systems skills
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- SME industry background advantageous
- Comfortable in an on-site setting at least 4 days per week
- Base salary C£70,000- £75,000 p/a
