Financial Controller

A demanding, senior role for our client, which is a highly-successful business in the Central Belt of Scotland. Current development in the company has created a role for a senior, qualified and experienced accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, ACMA) to join their existing team.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and technical abilities gained in an industrial environment. You will have a track record of success in implementing and standardizing systems, developing teams, nurturing talent, and improving profitability in a challenging environment.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Costing and cash-flow management with a view to improving profitability.
2. Dealing with inefficiencies and ensuring strict cost controls.
3. Improving invoicing, procurement, and payroll reporting.
4. Reporting at board level.
