Financial Controller

RG Consultancy are excited to be working with a very well established and fast-growing technology business in Stockport who are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to support company growth. This is an exciting opportunity and a great time to join a fantastic company. The role has been created to support the Financial Director to oversee the financial operations for the business.

The Role

• Oversee all the company accounts and finance function for the business
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, prepare month and year end
• Management of cashflow, budget and forecasting
• Oversee and manage the monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow forecasting
• Supervise and oversee the transactional finance and operations team
• Ensure compliance with internal control audits
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reports for the Financial Controller to support presentations to the board

The Person

• CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or part qualified would be an advantage
• Proven experience working within a senior financial management role, e.g. Senior Finance Manager or a Financial Controller
• Experienced working with SAGE or a similar system would be an advantage
• Working within the technology or IT sector would be an advantage but not essential
