Job Description

  • Managing all aspects of finance and accounting operations, overseeing a team of transactional finance members
  • Preparing and publishing monthly and year-end reports
  • Working with external auditors to support with year end audits
  • Supporting with budgeting and forecasting, working closely with the MD
  • Conducting analysis of sales & margin
  • Reviewing / overseeing payroll processing and submission

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A relevant qualification (or be qualified by experience)
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in both management and financial accounting

Although not essential, experience gained in a manufacturing business would be advantageous.

What's on Offer

This role offers a salary in the region of £55,000 to £65,000, level dependent on experience. This is a full time office based position, meaning you will work from the offices near Haydock 5 days per week. There is some flexibility with hours, and an early finish on a Friday. You'll join a supportive and collaborative working environment with opportunities for professional development.
