Position: Financial Controller

Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

Hours: 35 contracted hours per week

Salary: £75k - 80k per year

Advance are currently partnered with Venn Group who are supporting us in looking for a Financial Controller to join our team. As the Financial Controller you will act as the number two in the Finance team and will be responsible for managing the day to day activities including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and regulatory returns.

Job title: Financial Controller

Location: Oxfordshire

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 per annum

Duties:

  • Provide leadership across financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting and ensure the organisation can meet their strategic objectives
  • Review and advise on financial business plans and provide a clear update on cash flow and performance
  • Prepare year-end financial statements, liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies
  • Efficiently manage the payroll function
  • Manage a team of 4 and provide necessary training and development
  • Ensure finance systems and processes run efficiently and effectively
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across the organisation, assisting with reports, developing financial strategies and promoting values
Experience:
  • Qualified Accountant (E.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Previous experience working in the Social Housing sector
  • Previous experience managing a finance function
