ROLE OVERVIEW:
The opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, driven and credible Financial Controller to join the 54 team. This role will lead a small team in the delivery of monthly reporting, budgeting and planning, financial controls, statutory reporting and operational finance management while closely supporting the businesses' shareholders and investment backers. The successful Financial Controller will be a formally qualified (ACA or ACCA) accountant with prior experience working in practice. You will ideally have had exposure in a multi-entity business environment, either in an SME or larger corporate. You will need to be driven, credible, emotionally intelligent and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment. A passion for sport would be advantageous but is by no means necessary!
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting directly to a top tier CFO, the Financial Controller will be critical in ensuring the integrity of monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and advising on commercial decision making while overseeing the transactional finance team and maintaining relationships with external and internal advisors/auditors in the UK and internationally (Middle East and US).
