Financial Controller – Hospitality Industry

About the Role

A growing hospitality business is seeking a Financial Controller. This is a hands-on role, covering both day-to-day finance operations and high-level reporting to the board of shareholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs
Stock reconciliation, bank analysis, and balance sheet reviews
Circulating weekly flash P&Ls and cash flow forecasting
Overseeing capital and revenue budgets and monitoring costs
Managing relationships with banks, insurers, and auditors
Debtor management and statutory accounts preparation
Leading annual audits and compliance reporting
Supervising the Accounts Assistant and overseeing staff policies

What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) - Preferred
Experience in a manufacturing or hospitality environment (desirable)
Strong hands-on approach with proven experience in a similar role
Reporting and presentation experience at board level
Supervisory or team leadership experience
